<p>You can improve your chances by winning nationals in debate. I think that you should AIM A LITTLE HIGHER for your SATs also. And your rank will probably turn out higher than that, I'd say 5-7.</p>

<p>Being a Florida resident myself, I'd say you have a pretty good shot at UF and a very good shot at FSU. From what I've heard, UF likes to know that you have a pretty solid academic base but its the essay/ec's that really matter. Though, in the history of my school (public HS in FL) only 1 student within the top 5% has ever been rejected from UF.</p>
