None of your honors really mean anything except for the tennis maybe. Though making it to states is proof enough of your ability.

University of Michigan - match
Michigan State - match
Northwestern - slight reach
University of Chicago - slight reach
Washington University in St. Louis - slight reach
Notre Dame - slight reach
Johns Hopkins - reach
Dartmouth - reach

...but I don't really know. I'd get a second opinion...

try contacting the coaches too in case you want to play in college

University of Michigan - low match
Michigan State - saftey
Northwestern - low reach/match
University of Chicago - low reach
Washington University in St. Louis - match
Notre Dame - match
Johns Hopkins - match
Dartmouth - reach

i would say you have a good chance at most of these schools with your stats

First let me say thanks so much for posting a NORMAL title; it's very refreshing to see :D. Overall, I'd say you look like a very good candidate... the scores are where they should be for the schools that you're applying to and your ECs are quite nice as well. In particular, your involvement in tennis will help you appeal to colleges if you choose to play in college. If so, as CollegeKid1090 recommends, be sure to contact the Men's Tennis coach for the schools you're interested in playing for as soon as possible.

Chances on a scale of: high reach, reach, semi-reach, good fit, likely, safety.

University of Michigan... LIKELY.
Michigan State... SAFETY.
Northwestern University... SEMI-REACH.
University of Chicago... GOOD FIT.
Washington University in St. Louis... SEMI-REACH.
University of Notre Dame... GOOD FIT.
Johns Hopkins University... GOOD FIT.
Dartmouth College... REACH.

I think that, statistically (meaning your GPA and scores), you fit the bill for all of the schools you're applying to. Your EC focus on tennis shows passion and dedication, another plus. Your honor societes, while definitely impressive, won't really mean too much to the colleges you're applying to, but they most certainly won't hurt you.

You have good chances at all of those universities and colleges, with UChicago and Dartmouth being your only reaches. Dartmouth just because it's an ivy and HIGHLY selective, and UChicago because they really really really really value writing skills and creativity. If you say you're not spectacular at writing, but still fairly good, you have a shot at UChicago, but they do like creativity. I've met people with GPAs like 3.3 and 3.5 who have been accepted into UChicago purely for their passions (one was a major theater girl, the other an artsy soccer player) and superb writing ability. But, honestly, WHO KNOWS?? None of the posts on here can tell you if you will truly get into the colleges you're applying to. Admission Officers make the decision and know your chances, not people on a website.

Good luck with your applications and college search. :)

Haha, and I'ma applying to UChicago too! Though my GPA is nowhere near as impressive as yours, lol.

((check out my chance thread...id appreciate it))

Okay, thanks everybody.
