<p>Recommendations: should be very good, living in a small town and going to a small school I know all my teachers and counselors very well.</p>

<p>Essays: I am not a stellar writer, but they should not be too shabby, they will not be bad enough to hurt me, they just won’t be spectacular</p>

<p>Are you applying RD? If you're applying RD, then I would say NU is a high match/low reach for you. It's so competitive in the RD round.</p>

<p>crazy, never seen someone finish 2 foreign languages with 4 years of each. Too bad they didn't offer APs for both languages, that would have been pretty cool if you got 5's in both or something. I dont know how your GPA will factor because you didn't take many APs (not your fault, obviously) but since your ACT score is very competitive I think you are a strong applicant. Good luck.</p>

<p>great chance. i had the same ACT score, but lower rank and gpa. just like i tell everyone, take an interview and write great essays. honestly, ec's are average (for NU) since there isnt much club involvement or leadership. idk how the big your business is though. however, i think you got a great shot. dont put who's who or national society for honors students on your apps. they are just trying to take your money.</p>
