Hey, hi

can you decide… or at least advice what should i do with these?

I’m class of 08 in Korea, and a student in Foreign Language HS

SAT I - 2310 / 2400

GPA - (MID) 3.62/4.00
(FINAL) 3.70/4.00 -> I will be 3.7, if i get all As from my last semester.

*WE Don’t use Weighed GPA, and school does not send “ranks” to the colleges, because my HS is quite competitive in entire Korea.

SAT IIs - Chem 720
Phy 780
Math IIC 780
AND PLANNING TO TAKE 1 MORE

APs
I took
AP CAL BC
CHEM
PHYS B
BIO
PSYCHOLOGY
GVNT&POLITICS - US & COMPARATIVE
MICRO/MACRO
STAT

AND the result will soon come up through the mail. (i didn’t call and check it)

extracurricular activities

volunteering work : habitat, amnesty, own volunteering work near my home

awards
Outstanding student of the yr - by principle
chemistry olympiad - encouraging award
Creativity Olympiad - Bronze Medal
published thesis 2 times
won national awards (gold medal 2 times, silver medal for 1-- all science)

-internship
MEMS lab at Seoul National University, for summer break
Lab at KAIST
and more little things.

-sports
basketball/futsal/soccer (varsity?-maybe. there’s no official “school team.”)

i would like to apply to one of them
EA : Caltech + EA: U. Chicago
REA : Stanford
ED : U Penn Wharton- Jerome Fisher

and for RD
- Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Caltech, Stanford, UC-Berkeley, Deep Springs, Carnegie Mellon, Duke, Cornell, Penn, Chicago, U Virginia, Swarthmore, Amherst, Williams, Cooper Union.
What are my chances? T_T

i really want to go to MIT, Princeton, Harvard, Penn, Stanford. but the problem is my GPA. Most kids get high scores from my school…(not sure if i will be top-50% among entire students)

P.S.: There’s certain “thing” that differentiate me from entire Korean Applicants, does this can make BIG difference?

And one more question-- if i don’t meet “fundamental standard”- such as basic “GPA” or “SAT” scores, then would i be offered to get chances to be reviewed by Admission Committees?
