First of all, this doesn’t go in the College Search forum. It belongs in the What are my chances forum.

Second, you’re not going to automatically get rejected from a school because of a low GPA and not outstanding test scores. The transcript is most important (your courses).

You should seek the colleges that you actually really want to go to, make a list of colleges based on selectivity, and then apply to them. That’s the short story.

If you’re going to apply to some of these schools anyway, why do you ask what your chances are?

Nobody on College Confidential can answer your question just based on what you gave. That doesn’t mean that you should give more information, though. You could look at the websites of those schools you’re interested in and see how you stack up against the other students.

If you think you belong at those schools, you should get the point across in your application that you are a great match for the school and that you’ll make a positive contribution to it.

Your entire application is important, not just GPA and test scores.

Just don’t worry about it.

Of course, you should work on raising your GPA.
