and I'm applying to:

Univ. of Michigan
Arizona State University (Barrett Honors College)
Oberlin
Reed
UColorado - Boulder
Colgate
Kalamazoo
Denison
Evergreen
UChicago

any feedback you guys can give would be greatly appreciated, and you don't have to give me a full analysis or anything. if you have an admissions opinion on just one or two of the schools you see, go ahead and post it. thanks in advance

I think you're a match for Reed (meaning 50/50 or so), but essay is very important, and interview is important. Reed looks for a good fit for their quirky culture.

we have similar stats then. im also applying to reed and probably applying to oberlin. i visited reed this weekend, but i havent visited oberlin and probably wont get the chance to. have you visited?

no, i haven't visited either, but i will eventually be visiting oberlin. i live in michigan, so visiting reed might be tough. what did you think about reed andreaaaaaa?

hmmm i dunno about u chicago and maybe umich (but you're in state so it'll help)

being out of top 10% and low uw gpa will hurt so i think in at most everywhere perhaps slight reach at u mich and high reach at u chicago

Might want to look at Holy Cross-very good school 1 hour from Boston. HC is very similar to Colgate. Holy Cross also offers a great Classics/latin major.
