What are my chances?

I applied Early Decision to Gettysburg College.

I have an 86 average unweighted, 92 weighted.
I go to a private school with a good reputation.
My school does not rank students.

My SATs are 600 CR, 600, Math, and 650 Writing (Gettysburg does not consider that section much)

I'm the Captain of the Varsity Cross Country team, and have been on the team for 4 years, and i'm also on the Varsity Baseball team.

I'm involved in the Debate Club, Charity work, and other clubs.

I decided not to take any electives senior year, and am taking 2 AP courses (Economics and English Lit) and am in an Honors History course. The rest of my classes are all College Preparatory Level.

What are my chances?

You are definitly in.
Colleges really value leadership skills (CAPTAIN of XC)
And AP classes are very good.

Last year G'burg became harder than ever to get into - With good recs, your stats are competitive. Leadership is definitely values. Applying ED is also smart. Good luck - It's a great place.

What about these stats? 88 unweighted GPA, probably 98 weighted.

One really great community service that follows a sports related passion. Working with disabled kids every single Sunday. Single parent household. Not from the area.

SAT: 590 CR, 650 Math, 600 WR; and first time 560 CR, 680 Math, 560 Wr and 27 ACT.

Not sure about the rec's probably good, you would think the counselors and teachers would want him to get accepted. Quiet type.

Does anyone know how much G'burg cares about relatives who attended?
