I wanna go to grad school this Sept (I couldn't go straight out of undergrad cuz of financial issues). I sent in my applications but wondering what are my chances, just to see if I should brace myself.

I applied to Columbia, NYU, SUNY Stonybrook and Polytechnic.

My GPA: 3.85
GRE Scores: 770 Math, 690 Verbal, 4.0 AWA
Double Majored in Math and Management of Info Sys
Worked in IT for the 4 years of undergrad part time and full time since then
(Network Technician/System Administrator)
1 Research Project (but in humanities for the Honors College program, not in CS)

My problems: I didn't do the CS Subject GRE because I wasn't in the US for a major part of the last year (Columbia is the only school that requires it but they make allowances)

My other problem is that I don't have research experience in the CS field. I've done it in Humanities. In my SOP I emphasized that I enjoyed the research process and it was something I wanted to make a career out of in the CS field. Dunno if that's convincing though.
