is this for GWU or for FU?
anyway, reading score is a little low, but it seems you have solid shot

Not a slam dunk based on the stats of admitted students this year. Re-take the SAT and try the ACT to get at least a 30.

No athletic ECs?

oh yea....golf and baseball

"Im a junior right now looking to apply to GWU ED I in the fall..." PATM1401.

I dont know what this means, Pat. If you simply made a mistake, whatever. If you cut and pasted this info and accidently disclosed that you are truly applying ED to George Washington, then that is not exactly a very good signal to Fordham. George Washington has a binding Early Decision process and you will be required to withdraw all other applications if you are admitted there. But frankly, your scores are very low for George Washington and that looks perilously like a rejection...not even a deferral. As for Fordham...its also on the low side.....as scores have risen more than 70 points in 2 years I am told. Its worth a college try. But DEFINITELY retake the SAT and do some remedial work on the reading and writing sections.

You should aim for 1300 or higher on the Critical Reading and Math score combination. Its VERY stiff competition out there at MOST schools in the top two tiers.

EC's in sports dont matter unless you are a Division I standout and likely athletic scholarship recruit....and you should know that by now...as they do that work early and peg kids early.

Good luck.
