Well that won't keep you out. :-) I think you know already that other things like essays and recommendations make a difference, though. I haven't heard of some of those clubs, but that might be because I go to a school that doesn't do that stuff. So I don't know Beta Club or Future Business Leaders or Academic Club or Citizens of the World or SADD. I also don't know what National Honor Society is even though it seems almost everyone on this site does it. Crew is good, and you worked and did well in school at the same time.

what's your class rank?
You have pretty good chances. Just make sure you work on your essays and EC's over the summer. Good luck. Next year will be even more difficult to get accepted.

Yeah, not fair. We lose our ultimate bragging rights after a year, when the next grade can claim to be the most selective class. . . shoot.

jono: I've heard both sides, that the HS Class of 2006 will share the same level of difficulty in college admissions as the Class of 2004, while others have said it will be challenging. I'm not sure which side is correct, though. I'm curious if you or anyone else may have an article or link which discusses next year being more challenging?

what has your race and sex got to do with chances.
who cares if your a white male or a black female.
people nowadays! that was soooo irrelevant and other then that i think your pretty smart and can get in.
