<p>Hey.. im a white male from a small town in Westchester, NY with a school thats in the top 100 of the country and i am going to be applying Early Decision to GWU. I know that it is much more likely to get in ED so im hoping that works to my advantage.</p>

SAT IIs: Math IC- 700 Biology: 660
SAT (taken once)- collective 1890 CR: 650 M:660 W:590
ACT: 29 both times i took it
AP: Geography-5 currently working on Government and Environmental
Honors: 1 year of Math and 1 year of English
Class rank: top 25%</p>

copresident of GSA for one year been in the club for 3
going to join UN this year
Tech crew for 6 shows (translates to all years)
Track and field/Cross country- freshman did it all 3 seasons soph 2 junior 1
Employment: camp counselor</p>

<p>Not necessarily works for GW. I would apply to ED II and increase my GPA, get better stats. Otherwise, you are pushing your luck. Be patient, and improve your qualifications until January 10 or so.</p>

<p>D was accepted to Elliott, RD a higher GPA but other numbers similar to yours.
Your lower GPA could simply be a matter of a more rigorous high school with higher expectations from it's students. I definitely think you have a chance. Having put two kids through this process I am beginning to think that a lot of this is a "crap shoot " so, roll the dice you have nothing to lose but your application fee.</p>
