The only weakness is your SAT scores, if that comes up, you have a very good shot. Cornell is def a good choice for you to apply to

Looks pretty good overall. Everyone qualified has a shot, but I have no idea what goes through the admissions officers heads when they make decisions.

Basically, I can group applicants into two categories....either they have a chance, or they don't. You definitely fit into the former group, that's as much as I can definitively say.

appreciate the responses from both of yall thanks

Yeah, I agree that your SATs are low. You could still get in with a 1980 if your ecs were good enough (and yours seem close to that caliber), although I wouldn't feel as strong about it. If you get it up to a 2150 I would bet money that you get accepted.

then thats what i gotta do i guess haha

it looks good to me, very competitive resume. as mentioned SATs are a little low, but you should be able to bring em up. Good luck!!

I definitely like your chances. Fix those SATs :p

do not let the SAT score discourage you! When we say that, we mean that it as an obstruction to grouping you in with the "you've got it all there you have a fair chance kids"

like AJKates said, kids are either "good chance" "fair chance" "poor chance" or in between. it's pretty hard to have anything otherwise. So, you're in the middle right now, with everything fitting into good chance, and the SATs sitting in fair chance. If you want it, APPLY DAMMIT. On CC we pretty much look for flaws in the application, so the SAT is for the most part the only thing we have to pick on with yours. Thats a good think. And some kid got in with an approximate 1200 this year who was on this site. so relax!

cool cool good stuff sparticus

btw, this board is easily more friendly than countless other ones when it comes to these things, so if yall wanna give ya selves a pat on the back this wud be the time haha
