what are my chances??

<p>My GPA isn't as high as it could be because I was diagnosed w/ a chronic illness in my sophomore year. I wrote my essay about it, and it should be pretty strong. I know I will get two solid recommendation, one from my English teacher, and one from my Spanish teacher.</p>

<p>Everything looks good, except for your class rank. Top 25%? Are you sure that with your (excellent) grades that it's not higher? I mean, I'm don't know how important Midd thinks rank is, but I know that a lot of schools like to see you in the context of your high school to examine how you've taken advantage of its resources. I would check that number with your guidance counselor...with your grades, it seems kinda improbable. </p>

<p>Other than that, you look like you have as good a chance as any in this whole crazy weird admissions game. Good luck! :)</p>
