What are my chances?

I posted this a couple days ago and didn't get many responses so I thought I would try again...

I am a senior from North Carolina and I really want to go to Northeastern and hopefully get some kind of merit scholarship--do I have a chance?

-I am taking three AP classes this year, I took two last year, and most of my other classes are all honors
SAT: 640 (R) 580 (M) 660 (W)
ACT: 26
Rank: 138/510 at a very competitive public high school

Also, I am going to be the first one in my family going to college..

thank you so much!

I just posted a similar thread, your scores seem to be very similar to mine and Northeastern is my number 1 school and I think we both have pretty good chances of getting in. :)) good luck!

thanks so much! hopefully i will see you at northeastern :)

Well, I got in with very similar SAT and a lower GPA, but that was several years ago and it's amazing how admissions have changed. You would probably get some kind of merit, but I really have no idea how significant it would be. Other than that, your ECs seem pretty good, and I'd imagine you'll get in.

But take my advice with a grain of salt, I'm old and pretty far removed from what kind of applicant they're looking for these days.
