what are my chances?

I'm an out of state applicant to University Park. My GPA is 3.492 and I got a 30 on the ACT. I have been involved in sports all 4 years. Junior year I participated in Youth in Government and I'm also participating this year. What do you think my chances are of getting in?

I think you have a pretty good chance of getting in, especially since you had a great ACT score.

I'm OOS. I had a 3.7 GPA with an ACT of 27 and SAT of 1710/2400 and I got accepted into UP on Friday!

Margirl we have like identical stats but I am out of state but my dad and sister went there. Do you think i have a chance? Also when did you apply?

I am also out of state.

I think you have a great chance, especially since you have two immediate family members who have attended the university.

I sent in my app at the end of Sept (23rd I think) and I heard back last friday.

Margirl did you apply for summer or fall?

I applied for Fall

Ok good. I'm hoping i find out around the end of November

Ya, I think you should def hear back around that time.

my stats are almost like yours. I have a 4.0 and a 26 ACT so i hope we both make it!!!

congratulations on getting in....I'm so anxious to hear from them because it's my first choice

its my first choice as well. are u instate? Instaters are so lucky to have such a great state school!

I'm out of state...I also applied to University of Iowa and Indiana University and I was accepted to Iowa in September and accepted to Indiana the first week of October so it has been horrible waiting for a decision from PSU

you have a really great ACT so i think you're fine
but you might wanna check summer just in case. just becuase you never know and your GPA is below the mid-range
