thanks for the info :O)

anyone out there???

plz help me??

i think it looks great, you’ve got quite a list of schools there

what grade are you currently in?

I know, the list is quite monstrous, and I really need to narrow it down…ASAP.

I don’t know how to though, all the schools are so perfect.

I’m applying for 11th grade, so i’m a sophomore now.

WOW. it looks great to me!i love koreans…i’ve seen a lot of korean shows…and i also have a few friends from there…back in fourth grade, a group of about 20 koreans went to my school to do community service and they liked me so they went to my house and met my family…then even thought me how to count in mandarin from 1 to ten, but it’s been so long that i’ve forgotten it!i’ve exchanged a few letters, and they are just nice. (: asians are amazing…so are americans, blacks, europeans…

i hope that someday, we can live in a world where we have an different name for each skin color… very noble.haha. best of luck to you!you have a very good resume…

<applause> ditto asiankid29, ditto all the way</applause>

ok…thanks to everyone who helped me with this whole decision-narrowing process.

Just updating, but the actual schools that I am applying to are:

Hotchkiss
Exeter
Andover
Groton
Middlesex
Milton
Lawrenceville
Deerfield
St. Paul’s
Kent
Blair

11 Schools in total, with 7 high-reach, 2 mid-reach, and 2 low-reach

d’ya reckon that it’s too many schools?

umm… yeah. That’s a lot of application fees!

which ones are the mid reach and low reach schools, happy day?

but wow… that’s a LOT of schools… even though I have met someone who’s applying for 12

7 high reach: Lawrenceville, Hotchkiss, Andover, Exeter, St. Paul’s, Groton, & Deerfield.

Mid-reach: Middlesex & Milton.

Low-Reach: Kent & Blair

You will need to really set yourself apart in your essays and interview because your stats are average at best when compared with the other applicants to most of the schools on your list. It’s tough to get in as a junior. Also, I think you need to look into taking the PSAT instead of the SSAT as a junior but am not sure about that.

i think that you just need to really study for ssats/psats so you can get a good score, and great essays also help

Should I report both my PSAT and SSAT scores?

I’m currently a sophomore and I got 87th percentile on my PSAT. That was the 4th highest sophomore score in my grade.

I don’t know how I did on the SSAT, and I’m also kind of nervous about my scores. I’m anticipating December 31st.

Is it even possible to submit both one’s SSAT & PSAT scores?

i would wait for the ssat to come before you decide, you never know. i was nervous about my ssat scores but they turned out better than i had expected. just think positive
