<p>I don’t know what you mean by “average at best”, personally, from my stand point, the OP has just as good enough of a chance as everybody else. He clearly has EC’s which he is interested and dedicated to, and his grades and SSAT scores are qualified as well. </p>
<p>I might have taken your comment wrongly, but otherwise I’m not sure what else you could put in there to make him look better without being fake.</p>

<p>happyday21 - everything is GOOD.there are no ‘bad’ scores when it comes to the SSAT’s… 
it’s not really a big part of your application…the important thing is to do well in your interview…and to nail your essays! 2 of the schools that i’m applying to don’t use the SSAT’s as part of your application processes. some schools just use your scores to determine which class you’re going to be in, in case you get accepted.</p>
