I am a Freshman, like most of the other idiots who come to these forums, and I have a 4.67 GPA (<_<) and that is the highest you can achieve in Freshman year at my high school. I am the number one student in most of my classes.

I will be taking two AP classes Sophomore year, five Junior, and six Senior year. I will be doing one sport and a few clubs I'm interested in, what are chances of getting in? Planning on doing good in these classes and studying hard.

If you do academically well(or should I say academically perfect), what are my chances of getting into UCLA? I live near LA btw.

you've only completed one semester of your freshman year, uc's mostly look at sophomore and junior year

you're doing great, but you won't survive high school if you're already stressing and posting chance forums on college confidential. come back in a couple years

you're doing good so far, but again, it's only your first year.

if you're doing that good, have more self-confidence in yourself. don't bother with chance posts. i mean, why rely on the opinions of others when:
1. UCLA has a holistic admissions process which can place more weight on ECs/personal statement.
2. People on CC are not UCLA admission officers.

...well if you cant do any better what do you think your chances are? seriously dude. you will get in with a perfect academic record to almost any college. Plus extra curriculars, you are in anywhere.

If you keep it up, and are in state, I'd almost guarantee you admission. If out of state, I'd say great chances.

Yeah listen to everyone else and try to stay mentally sane ;) that's probably the number one thing you have to worry about if you're posting on chance threads now.

Get off this website before you start stressing yourself out. For me, it relieves stress as I have already applied. It can only create it for you.
