EC:
-I'm an avid songwriter. I have composed 4 songs and written all music and lyrics. The songs have been professionally recorded, copyrighted and played on WUSB radio station. I played piano and synthesizer on them. I sent a CD as supplemental material with three of my songs on it. Hopefully they listened. If so, it will really help me I believe. I have played live for a Breast Cancer benefit concert and solo. I take piano lessons every week.
-I played baseball for two years in HS. I play on an elite club team on LI. I volunteered to coach a little league team 2 years ago. I worked at a baseball camp for little kids during the past 2 summers.
- I volunteer at Smithhaven Animal Hospital every week. I wrote about it on Common App.
- I work at OnTheGoFitness and run fitness classes for kids.
- I attended a 3-week program at Brown University and took Genetics & Human Behavior
- I attended a 2-week program at Boston University and took two courses: Business and Criminal Justice.

Awards:
National Honor Society
National Spanish Honor Society
Honorable Mention 2006 Business Olympics

Essay: Very good. About the role of my dog as an influence.
Interview: Went very well (I sent her my music)
Recommendations: Both very good.

I know I lack the premiere standardized testing numbers that many of Wesleyan students have. But, I have a pretty solid EC foundation because it's not a meaningless laundry list of clubs (aka BS). I am an avid musician and baseball player and it shows. I have a real strong essay, recommendations, and interview, as well as solid GPA which falls right in with most Wesleyan students. Give me an honest opinion.

You’ll find out your chances in 4 days.

Patience. :-]

did you get in?

My SAT scores are like yours, and I have similar EC’s, although mine is with dance rather than music.

I hope you did get in!
