What are my chances?

<p>As of now I'm a junior and hope to go into medicine or the research field... my stats are:</p>

<p>Race/Gender: Asian/Female
ACT: 30 (Retaking it)
PSAT: 89% (I don't know the actual score)
SAT: Not taken
Rank: 18/541
GPA Unw: 3.77
Schedule: Strong, all advanced class...on a 6.0 gpa scale I have a 5.5
APs: APUSH, Gov, chem, Spanish, BC Calc...for senior yr I intend to take: English, Stats, Econ, Physics, and Bio
Extracurriculars/Clubs: Band, Badminton, NHS, Amnesty, Key Club,
Volunteer: Muscular Dystrophy Association</p>

<p>I am also applying to research internships over summer, so I will have some research experience by the time I apply...</p>

<p>Can I get into UIllinois, UIC GPPA med, Northwestern, UChicago, or Purdue ?</p>

<p>If you’re in-state, then yes ti all the public schools.
Northwestern is a reach, but if you can bring up your ACT score to a ~34 then I’d say you have a 50/50 shot.</p>

<p>Absolutely on Purdue & UIllinois.
Raise your ACT 3 points and you’ll have a pretty good chance getting into Northwestern and possibly UofChicago.</p>
