<p>What are my chances of getting into an ivy league, or top 20 school?
these are some of my stats and courses
Freshman Year: all honors
Sophomore: all honors and AP World
Junior: all honors and AP US/AP Bio
Senior: AP Spanish, AP Calc A/B, AP Psychology, AP Chemistry, AP Eng Lit
Clubs/Activities: Model UN, Humanitarian, Amnesty, NHS, Multicultural</p>
<p>Bass Guitar, Dance, Track (varsity)
CCD Teacher, Volunteer 25+ hours a year
Work-15 hr/week during school year</p>
<p>gpa. 4.55+
Intended major: Preveterinary med/ related major</p>

If you’re aiming for the Ivies, every applicant has stellar grades. What allows for people to judge if you have a chance are your ECs. (and SAT scores)

<p>true: ill have more once i take the SATIIs in junes and get my AP scores but in top of tht i’m taking summer courses at either MIT or Northeastern or both so itll come back eventually</p>
<p>Well, if you feel like you are knowledgeable about one subject (or two) I would encourage you to take the SAT IIs. By the way, are you a rising junior or senior? If you are a rising senior I would agree with Mvingi; it would be more prudent to focus on your SAT (or ACT).</p>
<p>I did take the SAT, but i had no chance to prepare so i didnt do as well as i had hoped. scores in the 700s in each section but i’m planning to study through the summer to raise it</p>
<p>700’s in each section? Can’t be too bad. If you tell us we can much more effectively chance you, if you don’t there’s really not much we can do to help, seeing as the SAT is a huge part of the application.</p>
<p>I’m not sure of my critical reading score…it was around 700 and my lowest. but my Math was 730 and writing was 750. and my intended major(if offered) is preveterinary, zoology, or biochemistry. hope that helps.</p>
