What are my chances?

<p>I'm applying for a pretty selective independent high school in my neighborhood. It's a college preparatory school and NOT a boarding school. It's not as prestigious as Andover or Exeter but it is pretty hard to get accepted to. So far, this is what I have</p>

<p>-4.0 GPA
-ECs: violin, piano, hiphop, jazz, student council class representative (for one year), student council treasurer (for the next year), yearbook editor. No sports though, is that bad?
-Okay SSAT scores, not great. Overall 2085, 76 percentile. I'll retake them though
-Great grades. Mostly A's and A+'s
-Most likely will get good reccomendations too.</p>

<p>So what do you are my chances?</p>

<p>It will be almost impossible to “guess” your chances because very few people will know the selectivity of the high school. My recommendation is just to check their website and see the score ranges, etc. Good Luck!</p>

<p>The school is in New Jersey, but I doubt anyone outside of NJ would know about it because it’s not that popular or anything.</p>

<p>Oh and I forgot to add that I was student council president too :slight_smile: but that really doesnt make a difference now… =P</p>
