What are my chances

<p>I'm applying for 9th grade for 2010 school year to Exeter and Andover
Need half FA;Go to Private school right now</p>

<p>Grades: All A's 6th and 7th grade
Sports: Basketball w/Awards and Track
Clubs: Science Olympiad and Math Club
Homeroom Rep. and play the Viola
Highest Average in 3 classes and Duke T.I.P Grand Recognition Ceremony
Geometry Honors
Summer: Basketball Camps and Volunteer Work @ Library
I'm from Nigeria but live in the U.S.
Will do great on essay, teacher recommendations, SSAT scores, and interview</p>

<p>I think it’s pretty good. Not the kind of “in your face” extremely impressive application but I don’t think its horrible. With a good essay, reqs, etc. you’ll have a chance but make sure you study for the ssat and don’t pass it off as a very easy test because you will be surprised. I see you have some awards in there, leadership position… yeah it looks pretty good. I’d get some community service hours though… i’m not sure if that’s what you mean by volunteer work @ library but if not then yeah. If you really want to go to a top prep school though, i’d recommend applying to a couple more schools. I will most likely be applying to 7 and only 3 are HADES so make sure you have backup schools just like if you were applying to college. If i were you, i’d work hard to try to either win something in math club, science olympiad, etc. or get a higher leadership position like class president, vp, etc. etc. ok yeah but overall not bad just attempt to touch it up with some recognition or leadership or something to make yourself different from the average application and if not it’s still ok because it’s a pretty good application anyway.
