My stats are
2.95 GPA
approxmately 1/3 of classes are AP
4 yrs Eng
4 yrs Math
4 yrs Scince
5 yrs Social Science
4 yrs of football
24 on ACT
Grades have been better than the previous year every year

It’s going to be very, very difficult. You took a very tough schedule, but your GPA is well below average. Your ACT is below average as well.

What does your trend look like for grades (if you could break it down by grade)? If you’ve improved a lot over the years, there is wiggle room.

Do you have any other ECs other than football?

Also one year of basketball. Some involvement in community activities. Good letters of recommendation.

Unless your grade trend is on a major upward curve with just freshman year really bringing you down, it will be very difficult. Do really, really well your senior year and apply early for your best chance. Good luck!

Yeah I would say it will be a reach for you to get admitted, could you estimate your unweighted GPA?

Id think you have a low chance of getting in…Make sure you get good grades this year and it would be a good idea to retake the ACT

Make sure you apply to a bunch of colleges if state doesn’t work out though

Don’t bother chancing. On another thread, he’s already lived in armstrong for 2 years.
