i am a male instate and applying for engineering

I’d say a pretty damn good chance, just based off of GPA and SAT scores. The extracurriculars push it over the top. I got in a few years ago as an undergrad with similar scores and a weaker extracurricular set.

Also, do whatever you have to do to KEEP THAT GPA UP. I cannot stress that enough. You may think a decent (lower) GPA and awesome extracurriculars will do the job but beware. I overloaded myself senior year, messed up my GPA and SD rescinded their acceptance. Drop some extracurriculars if you have to.

^^So what did you do? Did you get back in/what are you doing now??

beat me by a mile and I got in. I’m engineering too.

Hm…what did I do? Got back in of course! haha. I went to Pasadena City College, joined the Army National Guard along the way, got deployed, finished up at PCC and transferred back. LONG way back. So yeah, wasparikwasparik maintain GPA above all else. Trust me, been there, done that.

you’re insane… I mean, you’re in, of course
