Hey! I visited William and Mary this past spring and fell in love with the campus. I am an out of state student and am applying regular decision. I am currently number one in my class, and I am taking five AP courses in addition to the three I took last year. I have a 3.98 UW and 4.69 weighted GPA. My SATs are 770 math, 660 CR, and 660 writing, along with 720 chemistry and 750 US History SAT 2s. I am a National Merit Commended Student. I am currently a member of the marching band and the cross country team. I am president of the Interact Club, president of the National Honor Society, and vice president of my church's district youth council. In addition to this, I also participate in Key Club and Quiz Bowl team. Thanks for your help!

I think you will have a pretty good chance at getting in as long as you write a good essay / an essay that shows you are more than just your grades / scores.

Ditto what soccerguy said. I think you have a good shot!

You certainly sound like a competitive applicant and it’s always worth applying to schools that practice holistic admission. Remember that W&M cannot admit every qualified student but it does sound like you have a lot of great academic and personal qualities to offer
