What Are My Chances?

<p>Cumulative UW GPA: 3.3
Freshman Year UW GPA: 2.8 (regular classes)
Sophomore Year UW GPA: 3.5 (regular classes)
Junior Year UW GPA: 3.8</p>

<p>Junior year I took Honors Chem, and AP Micro. I got a 4 on the AP Micro exam. Senior year I'm taking AP Macro and AP Chem. So obviously there's a major upward trend with my GPA and course selection.</p>

<p>Test Scores:
SAT: Math-710, CR-680, W-700 (I will be taking one more time, hope to improve CR). I will also be taking the SAT IIs, and expect to score at least a 680 on three of them. </p>

<p>ECs: Key Club since 10th grade; FBLA since 10th grade; Baseball since Freshman year, and will be getting a Varsity letter this year. I also play recreational basketball.</p>

<p>I am looking at the following schools:</p>

<p>Reach: NYU (Stern), Northwestern
Matches: Villanova, Boston University, Syracuse, Pitt, Penn State
Safety: Rutgers</p>

<p>Is that a correct judgment of my reach, match, and safety schools? Do I have any shot at all at my reach schools? What are some other schools I should apply too?</p>

<p>Id say the reaches are a bit of a stretch but there are so many things that go into the application process crushing your dreans wouldnt be right. I say your matches are looking pretty good judging from your scores and APs :slight_smile: Good luck!</p>
