What's my likelihood for PSU? That's really the only school I want to go to.

To be honest, it looks like you’re a sure shot into PSU. All of your attributes seem to fill what they expect from their freshman applicants, pending what extra curriculars you may, or may not have done.

Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble and Pit Band. I am the Percussion Captain…

I’m the financial coordinator for our Spanish club that I’ve been in for 4 years. I was on yearbook staff. I’m the layout manager for our school paper… I am also the VFX artist on our school network. No sports, but I’m still not sure :-/

Sports aren’t a requirement, colleges like to see that your committed to something that YOU love, not something that’s expected. If they see that you have an undying passion for an activity, they will love you. Colleges enjoy having an applicant more focused with their extra curriculars.

What would you say about my girlfriend who coincidently is applying to psu as well? She has around the same gpa. Maybe 3.5… And her sats are 530,590,590… She does all the bands in her school, and is in the allshore band in nj… Think shell get in?

Thanks guys for your opinions… Ive been worried sick about my admission because I submitted it on oct 4, they had everything oct 24, and I know 4 people who already got in and they submitted it in November. What do y’all think?

Unfortunately, I haven’t heard back yet, and have been sitting on the edge of my seat for weeks now… Hopefully the decision will come out before the end of January, thats what they claim anyway. I got into Rutgers School of Engineering. Will let you know decision on PSU. Thanks again guys.
