Texas is a bit of a reach for you, but its can happen.

No chance. Sorry.

I think your rank will sink you, sorry. It sounds like a very rigorous school, but unfortunately, UT tend to look at how well you did in relation to others with the same opportunities.

Do you know how other students from your school have done at UT with relatively similar statistics? Your school counselor should be able to give you some idea.

You should be offered CAPs.

very slim.
work ur ass out and u may just get in.

Admission to UT is based on your standing/GPA at end of Junior year.

The GPA and Class Rank will probably hurt you alot.

Your rank matters much more than anything to UT. I would say you have almost no chance with the top 8% law. However, by some miracle you might be one of those people accepted with a lower rank. Sorry for the bad news.

sorry about that typo above, what did you get on the SAT/ACT?

I hate to bring you down but I doubt you can get into UT. If I were you, go to the school that accepts you (if you get into your major). Wow, 60 credit hours, damn what school is this?!?!

Well I was thinking of dropping the early college high school and transferring to my local high school. Allowing me to be in a less competitive school, and be in the top 10 %. I have not received my SAT scores but I doubt that would be much help.

you could always do the CAP thing, it might be a bit tricky since you already have 60 hours

CAP wouldn’t be smart with 60 hours. By the time he reached Austin he would have 90 hours, but still 2 years ahead of him because of the 60 hour rule. If you don’t get into UT, you’re better off going to a school you do get into and then attend UT for graduate school.

or you could do summer school at ACC, get a 4.0 GPA and transfer to UT, you should apply to some safe schools for fall in case you can’t transfer then you just attend your safe option.
