ED 1 or 2? In. Safety school regular decision? Nobody knows. Don’t count on it. Look at this year’s RD thread.

You definitely have well beyond the stats needed. I think the big lessons from last year is to show genuine interest. Make sure you visit campus, speak with admissions reps, interview, etc. Also make sure your essays reflect why you love GW, not just DC.

I agree with the rest of the posts. Applying EDI and EDII would show GW that you’re interested in them the most, for obvious reasons. But RD is so tough and little things have the greatest influence in your application. You have great stats to support you at any time but as Aaron says, make sure to show your interest in the school and demonstrate why it stands out from the rest, for you. Lots of luck to you!

So what all of you are saying is that unless I prioritize GW, I won’t get in?

Oh no no. Definitely not that! You always have a chance, no matter what. And judging from your stats, a REALLY GOOD chance. Just make sure to show your interest as much as possible. I applied RD with [partially] lower stats than you but I made sure to express my love for the school and why I wanted to go there :)

But do look at the RD thread- some people with stats like yours were accepted, and others rejected or waitlisted. There was a lot of discussion about the reasons why.

I believe that you have a stellar chance at RD. My stats were not as good and I got accepted with a lot of money. Especially if money is a concern for ou, I would not do ED. Or if you are considering other schools (and with your stats I would).
