I can't give you that great an idea, since I'm wondering my chances as well, but I say yours are decent, but not great. Your SATs are good (basically the same as mine), and if your SAT IIs are all above 700 (preferably above 720), then you'll be above average in the testing department. Your grades are good (though you didn't comment on how good your high school is, which can be important in admissions decisions). Your ECs, while not terrible, are somewhat lacking -- 1 and 2 year commitments dont really impress admissions that much -- though you seem to be passionate about music...The only major problem I see is community service -- six hours is about a twentieth of what the average applicant will have. It doesn't really help you to do much more now, since it will be obvious that you're doing it only to boost your chances, but the lack of community service could hurt your chances. Other than that, you look pretty good.

Thanks for the feedback tbk. Im mainly counting on my essay to boost my chances. I think I can get 750+ or above all 4 or 5 SAT IIs (hopefully an 800 on SAT II) but from what Ive heard today, thats not going to count much.

I just read your resume and I think it's superb! You'll have a great chance of getting into Dartmouth.

I agree with Tkb6. Your test scores are fine and I think you are a little above average. Your EC are lacking a bit, but might not be that far from the average. However, you need to show Dartmouth the one thing you really excels at, one thing that would make them chose you over other "well-rounded" applicants. Might it be academics? Music? I noticed that you have alots of AP classes. That's great! Keep it up! Furthermore, you should take college level classes if you could. I had 13 APs, 3 college, and 1 graduate level classes at the end of my senior year. (I know a person with 15 APs who was not get accepted). If you want to show them your musical talents then you might need to try to win more state level competitions. As it stands now i would say you got about a 30% chance, but that could be greatly improved.
