ahh, awkward silence. was i supposed to tag this thread or something to get replies, or is my post that typical and boring?

You have great GPA and AP scores (AP scores give you a tiny bump) but you’re SAT I score is a little bit low for harvard, etc. (unless you’re a URM).

I also don’t see your passions or what you have really focused on during your years in high school. Your EC’s are decent but not stellar. imo, you’re a match for a lot of your schools but ivies may be a mid reach

thanks for responding…

i know my ecs arent great. ivies are a reach, but im hoping vanderbilt. any suggestions for boosting my resume?

If you were to retake the SAT and get a 2250+ that would definitely boost your resume.

Don’t retake the SATs unless you really want to. Just send your ACT scores, and I would say Vanderbilt is a match.

Best of luck.

Might also look at Colgate and Holy Cross-both have good combination of academics and athletics. HC(don’t have to be religious) has nice campus 1 hour from Boston.
