SAT: 2180 (not great i know, but i didn't prep)
GPA: 4.2 weighted, 34 out of 520</p>

<p>AP: Euro 5, US Gov 5, Comp Gov 5, Lit 5, Envi 5, Macro 5</p>

<p>EC: Varsity baseball, basketball (rec league), Key Club, Politics Club, NHS, Debate, Youth Leadership St. Louis program</p>

<p>not sure about what schools yet, vandy and two ivies for sure. debating between better school, less/no financial aid vs. not as good of school (Auburn, WaL), lots of financial aid </p>

<p>also, chances at national merit finalist</p>

<p>You have great GPA and AP scores (AP scores give you a tiny bump) but you’re SAT I score is a little bit low for harvard, etc. (unless you’re a URM).</p>

<p>I also don’t see your passions or what you have really focused on during your years in high school. Your EC’s are decent but not stellar. imo, you’re a match for a lot of your schools but ivies may be a mid reach</p>

<p>If you were to retake the SAT and get a 2250+ that would definitely boost your resume.</p>

<p>Don’t retake the SATs unless you really want to. Just send your ACT scores, and I would say Vanderbilt is a match.</p>

<p>Might also look at Colgate and Holy Cross-both have good combination of academics and athletics. HC(don’t have to be religious) has nice campus 1 hour from Boston.</p>
