Im a MD senior, I go to a very competitive HS, and ranked somewhere in the top 40%. my stats are:
GPA: 3.3/ 3.4ish,(after sophmore year) will have completed 4 AP classes by Grad.)
SAT: 1150, but I am taking it in October to try to break 1200
Presumed Major: Business/ Mkt.
E.C.s 10th through present Active Member of the Key Club, Junior year- present I held office Involving community relations/ affairs.<br>
Junior year: Member of the UFO (Ultimate Frisbee) club.... the teachersponsor of this club did not agree to sponsor us again this year unfortunately, so we are looking for a new one.
Active in the community, assistant to a little leage baseball team, volunteer at local nursing home, etc...
Awards: 2nd/ 3rd place awards at the county DECA competition, DECA is a Business competition. Also during my Sophmore year summer I did a Summer Conference at NSLC (Leadership Busiess Conference)
What do you think my chances are at these schools?:
JMU (Top Choice)
Christopher Newport University
Mount St. Mary's
Loyola in Baltimore
.... also do you think the fact that I am out of state, for JMU and would pay more $$ increase my chances?

<p>I think you have a good chance at JMU early based on your ECs and stuff. Its a reach, but a very achievable one. Good luck.</p>
