I hate to do this, but in the interest of making good decisions about where to apply I was hoping you guys could evaluate my chances for transferring into the following schools as a junior.

-Brown University
-Georgetown University (College)
-Columbia University
-University of Chicago, and
-What other schools should I consider ?

I go to a top 30 liberal arts college, but I've found it a little too unstructured for my preferred area of study, economics.

Some Statistics:

HS GPA: 2.9 UW/ 3.4 W (I think I took 9-10 APs)
I attended a highly competitive, large public high school - if that makes a difference.
SAT: 1350 / ACT: 29 (I've always submitted the SAT)
IIs: 780 US History; 710 Verbal; maybe around 700 Math I...?
ECs: A few state championships in debate and tennis, as well as participation in a few clubs. I also have some pretty serious volunteer credits; I think the extracurricular part of my application is by far the strongest.

College GPA: 3.93 (48 Sem Credits)
ECs: a few clubs and some volunteering outside of the school (the lack of interesting extracurriculars is another reason i need to leave). I was also recently published in an undergraduate journal.

Recs: I have no way of knowing what these might say, but I am pretty sure they are very good recommendations from professors who are familiar with my work, ambitions, and personal interests.
Essays: They are not yet written; let's assume these are strong, but nothing otherworldly.

I held a job at the college, and took an overload courseload last Spring. I also have some fairly serious economics work experience, some if it is overseas - I'm hoping this is something to set me apart.
In addition, I may be studying abroad at in England next semester. I'm not too sure how this might affect things - but insight on this would be appreciated, as well.

Thanks for your help; I really do need it!
