sophomore 3.0 i finally settle down a bit and took school more serious

junior as of right now, i am taken AP us history( testing to see if i can handle Ap classes ) 5regular class and wind ensemble im aiming for at least a 3.8+ this year

senior: since i kinda screw my over my freshman year, i was thinking about taken Ap government, econ, and physics to boost up my gpa but i read that most colleges don't look at your gpa in senior year? so does that mean taken all of that is a waste of time?

my ec includes
band
jazz band
Above the influences
im joining key club this year
la san(vietnamese leadership/church school)
keyclub(this year)
im going to take an internship job at one of those vietnamese places this summer to help out people that need assistant or interpreter
my ec is kinda weak right now but that's all i can afford in my spare time during the last 2 years due to constantly moving to diff houses

my list of school is short, UCLA UC san diego, UCSB , and maybe UC davis
can i still make it ?

It’s going to be really tough to tell without your standardized test scores. When you get those, you might want to repost. If you get really good scores on either, that will help substantially.

Your GPA is a little low for all of your colleges, except your junior year GPA. Colleges look at your senior year GPA as much as they look at your sophomore year one. They want to see that you’re not slacking off. Take AP Gov, Econ, and physics, and kick butt
Since you’re applying to UCs, you’re going to have to take SAT IIs. I think some UCs require SAT II Math II, but look into it for your specific choices.
Since your English isn’t amazing, being foreign born, you’ll want to take the TOEFL and get some help writing your admission essays.

Good luck! If there’s anything else you want to know, let me know and I’ll do my best.

what is TOEFL ? im planing to take world history us history math 1 and 2 and bio and literature for sat subject

The TOEFL is the Test of English as a Foreign Language. Here, [TOEFL: Home](The TOEFL Tests).
You probably don’t want to take both Math I and Math II. Check out the level of knowledge required for both and decide which one suits you better.

oh what would the test do for me? i have to pay 170$ to take it too ;(
shouldnt taken math 1 and 2 subject test help improve my app ? or is there something wrong with it
