<p>Hi my name is Stuart Holden and this is a little background info about me. I am a senior at Sanderson High School with a GPA of a 3.5. I am involved in a number of things. Academy of Finance, Student council, Sanderson swim team, and Marlins of Raleigh swim team. In school I mostly recieve B's but theres always some A's in there. I have participated in a few events for charity like the juvenile diabities walk and the 5k race for arthritis as well as some other community service projects. I have taken the SAT and recieved a total score of a 1450. What are my chances of getting into Elon, Chapel Hill, NCSU, Denison, UNCW, and Appalachain State? Also I just wanted to clerify that I am taking the SAT again and the ACT this weekend.</p>
<p>OK I’ll ask the painfully obvious… 1450 out of 1600 (without writing section) or 2400 ???</p>

<p>Well at this time he needs to be studying for his SAT’s and keeping his GPA up. Hopefully the ACT is more of his kind of test. He should get as much help as he can right now to get his standardized test scores up… </p>

<p>Also why should I forget Chapel Hill? You never know what they’re looking for. I know your trying to be honest but to completely whipe out an option is kinda pushing it.</p>
<p>One of the general unspoken (and sometimes spoken) rules on CC is not to give out your name. So, welcome to CC! But we don’t want to know who you are; keep personal details to yourself, please.</p>
<p>That being said, if you got 1450/2400 on your SAT, retake it or the ACT immediately; that score will pretty much get you instantly rejected from Elon and UNC Chapel Hill. I don’t know enough about the rest to be accurate. If you got 1450/1600 on the other hand, you should be relatively okay.</p>

<p>Because you asked bluntly, No you will not get into any of those schools with your current SAT scores. But you still will be OK… </p>
<p>My practical advice is that you need to study daily for the SAT/ACT tests and then anythings possible. I bet you can do it if you put in the time… Get help from a tutor if you can.</p>
<p>What’s your rank and what state do you live in?</p>
<p>Also if you don’t get the SAT scores up, UNC is out of the question sorry.</p>
