Your SAT scores aren’t horrible (i’m guessing right about average) and your GPA is good. You almost tricked me with this:

 But then I realized this is for early middle school :stuck_out_tongue:
I would say you’re in (assuming you’re instate) but honors is probably not happening.

haha thank youu. yes I’m instate. My SAT scores are reallly loww, but I’m hoping everything else will make up for it…

Maryland is a very large school, so admission is almost entirely numbers driven.

are you applying to a certain school like engineering? admission is heavily weighted by numbers so it is a good idea to bring the sat scores up…are you applying early??

yes im applying early, the nov. 1st deadline
no, im not applying to a certain school

I think you’re most likely “in” (unless one of your letters of rec say something hideous!!).
Agree, though that you’re likely not in the running for any special programs (honors, scholars, etc.) or merit aid.

I think that your in, but u may get spring admission. If you get spring, UMD has a study abroad program that goes to London for the fall semester, which sounds pretty cool to me! But hopefully you wont have to worry about that

good luck! keep us posted…
