What are my chanes of getting in with aid?

Even though i've lived in the states for 10 years, i'm techincally and international student (not a permanent resident) from South Africa. I'm not sure if that'll help me get in or not. I went to a respected private school until my sophmore year when I was forced to go to a public school for financial reasons. I graduated after my junior year, and i'm currently taking a year off. What are my chances of getting into Hampshire and Bard with a good amount of financial aid?

Sat I: 1970; 690 V/650 M/ 630 W

Sat II: Lit: 710, Math IC: 660

GPA 3.52 - mostly honors. I only took one AP class (english lit, got a 4)

Excellent essay and recommendations (one from university professor).

My ECs kinda suck (I didn't really like my school, and didn't want to be there)
I attended two college classes outside of high school and received A's in both (Psychology 101, and Creative Writing)

Started a mountain biking team in freshman year, worked as a Counselor for an arts camp. I'm interning at a newspaper right now (on my year off) and doing some community service.

Oh, and I also received "the chemistry award for outstanding academic performance", which means I was the best student in that year.

Why did you graduate after junior year?

I wasn't really used to the more conservative public school setting. I got frustrated with all my teachers and I thought I could learn better on my own. I was right, too. Since graduating, I've been far more self-motivated. I read at least 7 hours a day, and feel more productive. That's why i'm opting for really liberal colleges.

bump...........
