Time to use your analytical skills here. You seem to be wondering if you should apply to each school based on your relative chances. That’s a bankrupt plan, IMHO. Apply to SCEA to Yale if you prefer Y over UP. If you prefer UPenn over Yale, apply ED there.

If you can’t make up your mind, apply SCEA to Yale and RD to Penn.

But you shouldn’t be choosing based on your admit chances at either. Yours and most everyone else’s chances are low. That’s just the fact. No one can give you real “chances”. But you’re viable so you should go for it.

Your chances are as high (or rather as low) as everyone else’s who’s applying to the Ivies. That being said, I agree with T26E4: apply where you want to go, not where you think you have a better chance of getting accepted. And again, if you can’t decide, apply EA to Yale - it’s not binding so you can still apply elsewhere. For some more in depth idea of your chances, my resume was a lot like yours except with Piano in place of winds and Ballet in place of science olympiad. I got accepted to Princeton, Columbia, Vassar, Amherst, and NYU; wait-listed at Cornell, Wash U, and Conn College; and rejected from Harvard. While I didn’t apply to U Penn or Yale, this should give you an idea of the range of responses from different colleges so you should choose the one you like better, not the one you are brave enough to hazard a guess will like you better.
