Obviously a bright and talented person.
It isn't so much a question of whether she'll get in but rather a question of whether is it the right school for her. If she has visited and loves the school I would urge you to apply ED. Also interview either on campus or with an alumnus/a. Know and understand the school's uniqueness.
This year's number of apps (and also at many other school's--i believe Papa Chicken has a thread tracking the increase at the top schools and elsewhere)--is throwing everything out of whack. A 17% admit rate will get it noticed by prestige addicts and a whole new vicious cycle of crazy apps will start all over again--it starts to get insane because parents start trying to one up one another as to where their kid gets admitted.
Read as many of the threads on this site about W&L as much as you can.</p>
