A friend of mine told me about this site, so I figured I'd ask for your expert opinions. :-D

-Currently a junior at a competitive semi-private high school

-GPA: unweighted 3.7 weighted 3.9

-rank: 67/ 854 (I expect that to improve a bit by the end of this year)

Difficulty of course work: I've taken the most difficult classes offered at my school when given the opportunity. I've earned nearly all As in my core classes, such as English, math, etc; but my rank was thrown off by poor grades in unweighted electives, such as drafting and wood working.

Classes I'm taking right now:
AP English- 96
Honors Chemistry-90
AP US History- 95
Senior level German- 93
Honors Algebra 2- 94

Senior year classes I will be taking:
AP European History
AP Senior English
AP Psychology
Honors Precalculus
AP Physics
Desktop Publishing

SAT I: 2140 740 math, 720 critical reading, 680 writing
SAT IIs: I'll be taking three at the end of this year in English, Math, and United States History.

Extracurricular/ community stuff:
- Russian Club
- PALS (organization to help underpriveleged elementary schoolers)
- German Club
- Foreign Language Honor Society: German
- History Club
- Math Team
- Volunteer Work for the American red cross
- Volunteer work for my greek orthodox church

I devote about 3-6 hours per week to the school activities which I've been involved with since sophomore year; plan to try and volunteer for some more stuff this summer...

Currently, I have barely any idea where I want to go. For majors, I was considering psychology, english, maybe undeclared.

Anyone have any suggestions for schools I should check out/ consider?

I was considering maybe looking at Tufts in mass, and U. of Chicago... would those be o.k. matches?

Thanks for you input, I greatly appreciate it.
