As a current junior, I'm just curious about my odds for these schools and what I can do to improve them before college app time next year.

Planned Major: Journalism

ACT: I took it in October and got a 31 (35 English, 28 Math, 33 Reading, 28 Science) with an 8 on the essay. I'm retaking it sometime this year to try and get 32+, but not sure when yet.
SAT: Haven't taken it yet.
SAT Subject Tests: US History's planned on but not sure what other ones I'll take.
PSAT: Almost certain I'm not National Merit anything, but won't know until I get my scores back.
AP Tests: US History (5), will take Psych and Chem this year, with US Gov, Calc AB, and Lit planned for next year.

Projected Senior Year Schedule: Honors Calculus 1, Honors Physics, World Religions & Christian Lifestyles, Honors Spanish 4, Print Media 1 & 2*, AP US Gov, AP Lit
*had I been able to take it this year without messing up my whole schedule, I would have done so.

GPA: 3.86 unweighted, 4.43 weighted
Class Rank: My school doesn't rank beyond valedictorian/salutatorian but I'm somewhere in the top 10%
State: OOS for all three of the schools mentioned

2 years school service rep
2 years student council officer
