<p>Okay, so my nerves have finally got the best of me, and so I solicit the help of you all at cc. What are my chances to get into Dartmouth? </p>
<p>I'm a white male from Maryland, attending a very competitive public school (top 2% in the nation). We typically send 1-3 students to Ivy League universities each year. </p>
<p>SAT: 2220 (800r, 690 m, 730 w)
SAT 2: 700-US History (this was pre-AP US)
700-Literature</p>
<p>By Graduation I will have 8 APs. My senior course load is as follows:
1st Semester: 1.) AP Physics 2.) AP Literature 3.) AP US 4.) Journalism 3
2nd Semester: 1.) German 4 - H 2.) AP PoliSci 3.) AP US 4.) Journalism 4
I am an AP Scholar with the following test results: 5 - Language and composition, 4 - Calculus AB (subscore), 3 - Calculus BC, 3 -Euro (there are reasons behind this)</p>
<p>GPA - Unweighted 4.0, tied for 1st in my class of about 390; weighted is around 4.6, </p>

I am currently at work devising a website where county students can submit poetry and artwork to be displayed to the public, this project consumes at least 10 hours a week of my time</p>
<p>Work Experience:
Worked 1 Year for around 20-30 hours a week as a mechanic/sales assistant at a bike store</p>
<p>Additionally, I am looking to major in English or double major in English/philosophy, with the career goal of being a writer/editor. I am very proud of my writing skills and think they shine on my essays. </p>
