What are my odds?

The due date for EDI is just around the corner, and I'm getting nervous. Care to help?

I am a 17 year old, white female from Chicago, Illinois.

GPA: 4.292 (unweighted)

ACT: 33 (Composite)

SAT: Critical Reading - 710, Math - 670 (uh-oh!), Writing - 780

Extra Curriculars:
-Varsity Swimming: Senior Captain, Conference Champ., All-Conference, All-State, All-American. I've been talking to the coach about competing for them.
- Varsity Water Polo: JV Captain, Senior Captain
- Student Council representative
- 2 x Foreign Exchange Participant
- Student Ambassador (Basically counseling freshmen)
- German Tutor
- Community Service Club: Co-Chair of New Student Welcome Committee

Employment:
- Lifeguard, approx. 25 hr/week

Volunteer Work:
- 2 x Relay for Life Participant
- Various walk/runs
- Timer at boys swim meets

My major is most likely psychology or business. My standardized test scores are mediocre, and my GPA and and volunteer work are not any better. What are my chances?

For EDI? I think you’re in.

“My standardized test scores are mediocre, and my GPA and and volunteer work are not any better”

Unless your GPA is on a 10 point scale; this comment MUST be a joke…

i second that lol

Whoh whoh whoh.
I definitely meant 4.292 is weighted. Not unweighted. That doesn’t even make sense. Aagh.

You seem like a good fit. I would say that you would be accepted. Good luck!

My S goes to Emory and was accepted ED I. His stats were similar to yours although his SAT I was at bit higher 1430.1600. You’re in.
