So im a senior who have gotten accepted to CSULB, CSUDH, and SJSU. ;
in my first semester of senior year I earned a D in PreCalculus; at this point I had finished my math requirements from the a-g so basically I was taking precalculus as a elective. I found the whole class too complicated to me so I dropped it second semester. Now that I got accepted to these awesome colleges I am scared that they’ll reject me due to the D I received in Precalculus.
You should contact each CSU and ask about your options. Most are willing to work with you and since you have fulfilled the minimum a-g course requirements, they may just make a note on your application so when your final transcript is reviewed, the D will not be a surprise. Be proactive since they could potentially rescind you when they get your final transcript without a prior warning… Better safe than sorry.
