What are my real chances at UCLA

OK, so right nowi am planning onmoving to the east coast but before i do so , i kind of want to know what my chances are of being accepted into UCLA are as that is my #1 choice for school. My application is oviously already there for fall 06 , but like everyone else i wont know the results.

These are my basic stast.

3.48 transfer GPA as of right now
60 units (transferable)
AA degree in transfer studies
National Deans List
National Honor Society

IGETC completed
Major prep not completed b/c its a lot of math, i am only done with CALC 2

HS grades suck, i dont even know what they are actually, i took the CHSPE in 2001 and been in community college since then. But i adressed this issue in my personal essay which is about my immigration here, my moms cancer, her role in my life and my need to maintain and support the family financially until recently when i was able to devout myself to my studies, and i did recieve a 4.0 two semesters in a row carrying 21 untis, and then 10 in the summer.

I worked every single year full time jobs or multiple jobs.

The major i applied for was Math/Econ, its acceptance rate is 62% and the average gpa was 3.56.

SO what are my real chances... should i actually seriously consider waiting around for the possibility of getting accepted or is it safe to make arrangments for mymove.

Thanks

Cal 2 completed by Fall or Cal 2 completed by Spring ? Because you have a long way to go after Cal 2. I'm not sure what really is your chances because you missing around 4 classes for your lower division . Not sure if you finish your C++ class yet ?

Are you saying you addressed the fact your high school grades sucked in your statement? You do know that high school grades are of no consequence to this process right? Hopefully you were aware of that and other transfer factors.

i adressed the fact that it took me 5 years to get out of CC. i said nothing about my high shcool grades.

I am already done with Calc 2.
This upcoming semester i have Calc 3.

There is no C++ in the CC.

i will be missing Linear, Differntial, and C++.

I have met the prereq to take Calc 3, Linear and Differntial, i just dont think its a good idea to take those in one semester...

you should take Cal 3 and Linear in Spring and finish up the differential equation class in summer .

I'd say its a slight reach. And I believe that math/econ is an unimpacted major, so your missing of two or three prereqs won't be too hurtful.
