I have a 1.7 GPA from an out of state religious university. Came back to a CCC and obtained a 3.6 GPA, overall GPA is at a 3.12 but can be as high as a 3.44 depending on the classes that Berkeley decides to take or count as retakes. UC Davis offered me a TAG, so they had me higher than a 3.2 GPA. I have shown tremendous upward improvement academically.

-Volunteer helping Vietnamese immigrants integrate into public institutions
-Volunteer teaching a Syrian refugee family English
-Running my own non-profit/showcasing my idea at the Clinton Global Initiative this year at Berkeley.
-Very active in sports
