What are some Brown-ish(school with a good academic reputation but laid back) schools

chkm: I’m fairly certain (but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong) that Vassar also only gives need-based financial aid, just like Wesleyan.

However, do note that both Wesleyan and Vassar are need-blind, and do meet 100% of demonstrated financial need. If your EFC shows you can only pay $10,000 a year, these schools will give you the other $40,000 (with a few loans possibly thrown in).

the average grant each student on financial aid gets is ~$25,000-30,000 each year, and in many cases, wind up costing less than “cheaper” schools

Pomona doesn’t have merit aid

Hamphire College!

Vassar and Bard all the way lol
