Maybe you had a bad time, it ruined your gpa, the workload was too much.
I regret taking AP chemistry. All that work to maintain a 90 average and such a low ap score.
People at my school usually regret taking AP chem and Art history. The latter is a guarantee B for most.
I regret taking double math (geometry honors + algebra 2 honors) last year, even though it was basically a requirement. Not that the classes were hard (except geometry was kind of rough lol), but I had to defer APUSH 1 to this year and now I have to take APUSH 2 on top of AP World next year when I could’ve gotten the chance to take another class and not do 2 AP histories, lol.
I think I have more regrets about classes I didn’t take, strangely. But, right now I’m regretting taking Astronomy. I fall asleep almost every class because we’re in the dark all the time. Not to mention I’m fighting for an A- in it.
Pre-Calc Honors. Taking this class to boost my course rigor was totally not worth it. The class drove me borderline insane because the final pretty much decided your grade and my teacher graded it really unreasonably. (Either you get all the points, half the points, or none of the points. Even if you made a careless mistake, you would lose half the points for that question.) I took APUSH, AP Chem, Pre-Calc H, and Am Lit H in my junior year (in terms of hard classes), and the other three combined were easier than Pre-Calc.
APES. Love the actual course material but the teacher isn’t very knowledgeable and the class (powerpoint + lectures for the whole 1.5 hours) is a snooze. Should have self-studied for it instead.
