What are some classes that you regret taking?

Maybe you had a bad time, it ruined your gpa, the workload was too much.

I regret taking AP chemistry. All that work to maintain a 90 average and such a low ap score.
People at my school usually regret taking AP chem and Art history. The latter is a guarantee B for most.

8th grade. All of it.

I regret taking double math (geometry honors + algebra 2 honors) last year, even though it was basically a requirement. Not that the classes were hard (except geometry was kind of rough lol), but I had to defer APUSH 1 to this year and now I have to take APUSH 2 on top of AP World next year when I could’ve gotten the chance to take another class and not do 2 AP histories, lol.

Also AP Bio is the worst rn.

Taking apush comboed with ap chem atm. we’ll see how i fare.

@MoistChicken did that last year, easy as anything.

@awesomepolyglot I’d go as far as to say the vast majority of middle school and half of 9th was time wasted.

I think I have more regrets about classes I didn’t take, strangely. But, right now I’m regretting taking Astronomy. I fall asleep almost every class because we’re in the dark all the time. Not to mention I’m fighting for an A- in it.

Algebra 2

Honors physics in college. What was I thinking??

I slightly think that I shouldn’t have taken AP Psychology, but my grade is improving (87%) and could get to 90% before the quarter is over.

AP Art History literally sounds awful, especially if you find art history extremely boring like myself.

AP european history. (might’ve been because of my teacher though - he sucked) and AP Chemistry.

Different for me. I thrive in AP Chemistry, but really regretting Honors Pre-Calc. In the past, I also regret AP Art.

Pre-Calc Honors. Taking this class to boost my course rigor was totally not worth it. The class drove me borderline insane because the final pretty much decided your grade and my teacher graded it really unreasonably. (Either you get all the points, half the points, or none of the points. Even if you made a careless mistake, you would lose half the points for that question.) I took APUSH, AP Chem, Pre-Calc H, and Am Lit H in my junior year (in terms of hard classes), and the other three combined were easier than Pre-Calc.

AP Calculus BC. I struggled to get an A in honors precaclulus yet I still signed up for the hardest math class my school offers -_-

^ that basically describes my life right now.

Chinese. What the hell was I thinking?? When am I really going to have the opportunity to use this?

None. All of my least favorite classes were required (chem, algebra, etc).

AP PHYSICS C

APES. Love the actual course material but the teacher isn’t very knowledgeable and the class (powerpoint + lectures for the whole 1.5 hours) is a snooze. Should have self-studied for it instead.

Honors Chemistry. Had the worst teacher ever. Got a 43% on second semester final. GPA = rekt
