What are some colleges I could get into?

Hi everyone, I would greatly appreciate anyone's suggestions on colleges I could get into.

My stats:

i go to an average public suburban high school, where about 30% go on to either university or community college. my school has two honors classes and i took both of them, and 18 ap classes.

condensed form:
-so far, with my junior high classes that count, freshman year, and first semester sophomore year, my unweighted GPA is 3.911. core academic is 3.925.
-i have not taken the SAT yet, but my PSAT this year (sophomore) was 210.
- ECs: not great, i play one varsity sport. i am in the band. next year i am taking a class called Sports Medicine where we spend 50 hours outside of school providing low cost physicals and taking care of the athletes. i will also have a job next year and be in clubs such as FBLA.
-white female, middle class, first in family to go to college.
-class rank: we dont know until our senior year, but i am up there (top 5%)
-i live in Washington state.

longgggg form:
7th grade class that i can get high school credit for:
Algebra I: A/A

8th grade classes that i can get high school credit for:
Spanish I: A/A
Geometry: A-/A
Intermediate Band: A/A

Freshman:
Spanish II: A/A
Algebra II: A-/A
Honors English: A-/A
Advanced Band: A/A
PE 9: B+
Washington State History: A
Health 9: A
Physical Science: A

Sophomore (1st semester grades and my projected 2nd semester grades):
Functions, Statistics, Trigonometry (like precalculus 1) : A-/A-
Symphonic Band: A-/A (i am not sure about this, my teacher's wife just left him for an online lover....so he is not in a good mood at all, so everyone got a C on their progress report)
Honors Sophomore English: A/A
AP World History: A-/A
Honors Biology: A/A
Spanish III: A/A

Junior (next year):
AP Biology
AP US History
AP Spanish
Precalculus and Discrete Math (like precalculus 2)
Sports Medicine
American Literature II (1865-present)
College Writing

Projected Senior:
AP Calculus
AP English Lit
AP European History
AP Psychology
1 year of science
various required high school classes - PE and whatever

so i have two questions: what are some schools that i could look into? and does my overall GPA (3.911) or my academic gpa (3.925) matter more? i know they are basically the same but i am afraid i will get a ridiculously low grade in band. (see above)

thanks so much for any advice!

If you keep your grades the same, and average 700 on each of your tests, your AI will be 215. The cutoff for the Ivies will probably average around 213 or so by the time you apply. Your only problem at the current time is a lack of good ECs. Fortunately, since you are only about to end your sophomore year, you have time to get more involved in this area--which you definitely should do if you want to have any chance at the Ivy league schools.

You also need to decide on what you might possibly want to major in, and maybe consider majors--and then research schools of interest with good programs in these majors. This site can help you with this throughout the year as you get some ideas--and you can also talk to students at those schools through this site. For us to just start throwing out school names when we don't know what you are interested in or which part of the country you are interested in is a waste of time.

Good luck to you.

Assuming you get a 2100 or more on the SAT, you can basically get in anywhere in maybe except for ivies. If you want ivies, then you need at least 2250+.

Your grades look good, I'd say try to bring that SAT score up :)
